Susie Ford
Executive Director of Speech Language Pathology

Dr. Ford majored in speech and hearing science and earned her Ph.D from the University of Tennessee. In practice since 1965, Dr. Ford stays abreast of the latest advances in her field with active memberships in the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association, American Hearing Aid Associates and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, where she received her Certificate in Clinical Competence. A volunteer with the Achievement Academy, she is a Past President of the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association and Past Chair of the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Gary Waters
Speech Language Pathologist/Chief Operating Officer

After completing his undergraduate studies, Gary obtained his master’s degree in speech communication from Auburn University. In practice since 1976, Gary has been with Columbus Speech and Hearing Center since 1981. A member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, he holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the organization. Gary is married to his wife, Carol, and they have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys music, singing, playing guitar, photography and volunteering with Providence Baptist Church.
April Rains
Speech Language Pathologist

April received her education from Dartmouth College and Auburn University and is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is certified by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and is the lead speech-language pathologist for HeadStart. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys volunteering with her church.
Amy McCraney
Coordinator of Reading Therapy and Pediatric Services

Amy is a 2003 graduate of Auburn University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. She is Lindamood-Bell trained in reading, comprehension and math programs.
Rebecca Sigman
Speech Language Pathologist

Rebecca earned her B.S.Ed. and M.Ed. from the University of Georgia and has been in practice for four years. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and received her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). In her spare time, she volunteers her time to the Junior League of Columbus, St. Francis Hospital and Historic Columbus Foundation.
Beth McClendon
Speech Language Pathologist

Beth earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Auburn University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and especially enjoys working with the elderly population.

Rachel Stewart
Speech Language Pathologist

Rachel is a graduate of Auburn University and is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Melanie Woodruff
Med, CCC/SLP

Melanie is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Georgia and has been practicing for four years. Licensed and ASHA certified, Melanie is a member of the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Sarah Eldridge Slubowski
MS CCC/SLP

Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at George Washington University before earning her master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn. A member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, Sarah has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the ASHA and is board certified by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology. She also holds her Connecticut State Licensure for Speech-Language Pathology and Connecticut Teacher's Certification.
Wendi Marshall
Speech Aide

Wendi is a December 2004 graduate of Auburn University with a B.A. in Communication Disorders with a concentration in human development and family studies. Working as a speech aide, Wendi enjoys helping with the Head Start Program.
Amy Oliver
Audiologist/Director of Audiology

Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and master’s degree in audiology from Auburn University and completed her internship in pediatric audiology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Georgia and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She enjoys reading in her spare time.
Andrea Webster
Au.D., CCC-A

Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Communication Disorders from Auburn University before receiving her clinical doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. A member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, Andrea has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the ASHA and is board certified by the Georgia and Alabama State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Brandon Glover
Front Office Manager

After receiving his Associate in Science degree from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in 2000, Brandon graduated from Troy University two years later with a bachelor's degree accounting and business administration. As the office manager, he oversees the front office and the billing department. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys fishing and riding motorcycles.
