Columbus Speech and Hearing Center participates with most major insurance companies. While attending the office, we request a copy of all insurance cards so we can be sure we have the correct identification number, group number and claims address. We recommend that all patients call their insurance company to verify whether our office is in or out of network, determine their benefits and deductible amounts and if any referrals are required. We request that all deductibles and co-pays be paid at the time service is rendered.
We do provide payment plans through Care Credit, an instant credit program. Care Credit is much like a department store credit card. An application is required to be filled out, resulting in a response in a few minutes. The patient would make payments to Care Credit instead of Columbus Speech and Hearing Center.
Hearing aids are usually not a covered benefit on most insurance plans. Columbus Speech and Hearing Center requires half the cost of any hearing aid price to be paid when ordered and the remainder of balance at the time of the fitting.
For any additional questions about insurance or Care Credit, please contact our billing department.
